Stacy and Mike Sinner here. We live at 504 10th St NE Kasson, MN 55944 and we are happy to announce that we will continue hosting a House Concert series, in our home which we fondly refer to as The Acoustic View.
If you have experienced a House Concert before, then you know that an evening with these talented musicians is time well spent. If you haven't experienced a House Concert, then you owe it to yourself, family and friends to see how fulfilling it can be. The quality of the music in such an intimate setting is something you just can't experience anywhere else.
Here's how it works. We collect a free will offering for the artist. All of the money goes to the artist, we don't take anything for hosting. $15.00 per person is suggested. Doors open at 6:00 pm with music starting promptly at 7:00 on Saturday January 28th.
Bring something to share if you like; bottle of wine, a six pack, food, baked goods, cheese and crackers, whatever you like. This is not a wild drinking party, but rather a gathering intended for socializing and listening to great music.
Meet the artist before the concert and learn about the experiences that have inspired this music, how to write songs and what it's like to perform for a living. Then take a seat and enjoy a set (usually about 40 minutes) of original acoustic music. We'll take a break for a snack, a glass of wine and another chance to talk with the artist. After about 20 minutes, we'll take our seats again and listen to another set of original music.
