“On the opening title-track to her second solo CD, this South Dakota native and former True Blue leader sounds like a pleasant enough Alison Krauss wannabe. Her sweet voice is suitable for Lilith Fair, and her banjo-picker will get her into county fairs. But deeper cuts such as “Tell Me Now” and especially the infidelity chronicle “So Embarrassing” prove there’s a lot of weight underneath the angelic sound.
